DSB go! A monster hunt

INFO

CLIENT: DSB
ADDRESS: www.dsbgo.dsb.dk
CATEGORY: Webdesign, mobile design, digital utility
Role: Creative ideation, client service and project management
Agency: Mensch

Project Description

In October 2016 DSB revitalised the DSB Døgnet, where customers could travel across the country at exceptionally low fares. This activity was surrounded by a lot of different activities and one of them was a digital utility targeting families traveling with kids.

We invented a platform where we combined user generated data with DSB data to create a subject of conversation between the parents and children while traveling. The everpresent hunt for digital monsters was the foundation which the service build on.

Results

The services was on the day used by around 1.000 unique users and it also served as proof of concept for combining DSB data with other datasets.

“Dejligt at I bringer smil og kommer med lidt sjove tiltag. Alt er jo ikke planer og tidspunkter.”

“Super ide! Fantastisk at lave den slags services! Må i gøre noget oftere! ”

Using data as creative driver

The creative solution was founded on data layers. We worked with combining data from rejseplanen and pokemongo.dk to create a correlation, that could show where the most monster activity was around the station and help users plan when to take the next train.

The solution was developed using a wordpress backend for handling the webapp.

The solution was created with our digital implementation partner Plant. Also visit their website for more inspiration.

Coop member app – Data and loyalty

INFO

CLIENT: Coop
CATEGORY: digital utility, cross channel, loyalty, data
Role: Creative ideation, client service and project management
Agency: In2media

Project Description

In connection with a grand relaunch of a large Danish retailers member program In2media was asked to create a mobile presence covering 6 different chains and over 1.2 mio. members.

The task was to develop two apps on android and iOS, using available data and API’s delivered by the client. The project was to be delivered within an extremely short time range due to reserved media spend.

We induced the project with an Agile model squeezing the different phases close together and ensuring swift iterations. During a period of approximately two month there was delivered close to 2.000 hours and two applications was ready to be released.

Results

The first edition of the application laid out the ground works for the platform, that is today working with targeted offering and inspiration as well as Coops move in to mobile payment.

“Super app.”

“Som jeg oplever det kan det ikke gøres bedre.”

iOS users

The first steps on a digital journey

The applications took use of the available possibilities and offered the users access to their data, gave them their member card directly in the pocket and allowed them to participate in daily competitions. Furthermore the two applications served as foundation for further development and are the bases for the future roadmaps – VERY exciting analysis with cutting edge mobile technology has been made since launch and are awaiting implementation.

The solution was developed for both iOS and android using Coop API’s to connect member and grocery data.

The solution was created in the In2media group by In2media and Insillico.

Innovative release process and life situations.

A long process using deep user involvement and analyzing how to convert banking customers online started up in 2015 and ended op in a MVP which evolved around user life situations. The site was initially launched as Danske Bank Beta and gradually more and more content was added until september 2016, where the final switch was made.

My role in the project was client responsible and strategic advisor. Along with a great team I won the pitch and negotiated the contractual terms and took part in the analytical part of the project.

The solutionis build modular in Sitecore CMS with focus on giving editors of each department freedom when publishing.
