Project Description

In connection with a grand relaunch of a large Danish retailers member program In2media was asked to create a mobile presence covering 6 different chains and over 1.2 mio. members.

The task was to develop two apps on android and iOS, using available data and API’s delivered by the client. The project was to be delivered within an extremely short time range due to reserved media spend.

We induced the project with an Agile model squeezing the different phases close together and ensuring swift iterations. During a period of approximately two month there was delivered close to 2.000 hours and two applications was ready to be released.


The first edition of the application laid out the ground works for the platform, that is today working with targeted offering and inspiration as well as Coops move in to mobile payment.

The first steps on a digital journey

The applications took use of the available possibilities and offered the users access to their data, gave them their member card directly in the pocket and allowed them to participate in daily competitions. Furthermore the two applications served as foundation for further development and are the bases for the future roadmaps – VERY exciting analysis with cutting edge mobile technology has been made since launch and are awaiting implementation.

The solution was developed for both iOS and android using Coop API’s to connect member and grocery data.

The solution was created in the In2media group by In2media and Insillico.
